One of the best hard drive players that you can find anywhere, this enclosure can also connections for S-Video, VGA, Y/Pb/Pr, 5.1CH surround sound, as well as a USB host IN. Also included are all the connections that you will need, including a HDMI cable and even a R/L audio RCA to 3.5mm earphone jack adapter. Instead of watching all your files on your boring computer screen or sorting though all your DVDs, convert your DVDs to the hard drive, and play them in the absolute best quality available.
Although this unit is capable of syncing to HD screens and projectors it is not able to play native HD (720P and 1080P) content from a .wmv file for example. It is however able to effectively upscale your lower resolution MP4 container videos to 720P and 1080i to produce a better picture over HDMI and component video leads .
Hard disk drive (HDD) NOT included, the HDD you install must be formatted for the enclosure to be able to operate. Not for use with Maxtor brand hard drives.
